Sunday River Inn is a mountain home for family oriented, outdoor
enthusiasts. Guests relax in the quiet solitude of Maine's western
mountain scenery and take part in a variety of activities from a full day's
skiing to a quiet snow shoe in the woods.
A Good Night's Rest...
The Inn offers a variety of accommodations to suit parties of any
size. Most guests stay in private rooms and share large, modern, central
bath facilities. Private baths are offered in the Telemark Rooms and Wight
House Suite. Bring-your-own sleeping bag dorm rooms are an economical
choice for large groups or families.

A full breakfast is included in your stay at the Inn. Dinner may be added to
your stay for an additional $20 per person.
The big open kitchen is a unique feature that gives arriving guests
the sense of entering a private home. From this kitchen comes the aroma
of homemade food that convince guests to forget their diets and
"ski harder tomorrow."
In keeping with its family orientation, there is no bar at the Inn. Guests
are welcome to bring their own beverages; ice and glasses are provided. In
the interest of the health of all, the Inn is maintained as a smoke free
environment.
Plenty to Do...
The large fieldstone fireplace in the beamed and paneled living-room invites
guests to gather to share experiences in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Families
are especially welcome. Children take immediately to the friendliness of the
place; the presence of others their age, the Ping-Pong and pool tables, the
checker board and closet full of games and puzzles. Guest of all ages with
energy left at the end of the day enjoy evening cross country skiing, sledding or a relaxing session in the wood fired
hot tub and "roll in the snow" sauna.

Sunday River Cross Country Ski Center, widely acclaimed as a premier
ski facility, is located adjacent to the Inn. Inn guests receive complimentary
passes to the Center's network of superbly groomed trails. The Center also
offers rental equipment, entry and advanced level instruction, ski accessories
and souvenirs, a food counter, a sunny warming room, expert ski repair,
and friendly advice on tour planning and equipment selection.

Nationally famous Sunday River Ski Resort with its eight mountain peaks,
sixteen lifts, three base lodges, restaurants, lounges and ski shops is
just up the road. Inn guests have the distinct advantage of easy access
to all the resort offerings yet quiet restful surroundings at their vacation
home down in the valley.
